A 640 m² private family home nestled into the hillside of the Amstel riverbank. The design responds to the landscape through a series of cascading terraces, generous eaves, and a material palette drawn entirely from the surrounding terrain.

On Exhibition
A public commission requiring the delicate act of extending a 19th-century civic building. Our addition reads as a quiet continuation — echoing the original's rhythm while introducing contemporary light and openness.
View ProjectSet within a protected woodland, this community pavilion is designed around the existing trees. Structural columns mirror the forest canopy; the roof dissolves at its edges into a glazed fretwork that brings the outside in.

Architecture is not the pursuit of novelty. It is the patient search for the right response — to site, to programme, to the people who will inhabit the space long after the drawings are archived.
Listen Before Drawing
We begin every engagement by understanding — deeply — what the client truly needs. The brief is never taken at face value.
Respond to Context
Every site has a voice. Our designs are shaped by topography, light, climate, and neighbourhood character rather than imposed upon them.
Material Integrity
We select materials that age with grace. Our palette is restrained — each element chosen for its honesty and its contribution to the whole.
Endurance Over Trend
Good architecture is invisible in the best sense — it simply feels right, year after year, decade after decade.
